Testicular Cancer: First Step of Treatment – Surgery!
Testicular cancer is one of the most treatable cancers, especially if diagnosed early.
After diagnosis the most important treatment is removal of the affected testes, a procedure which is called, radical orchidectomy.
This surgery is done through a small incision in the groin region in order to remove the whole testis and the surrounding structures safely and completely.
The removed testicle is sent to laboratory in order to investigate the type and the stage of the cancer.
This result guides us the next steps of treatment.
Good news men can continue completely normal life with single testes especially having normal sexual activity and also in most of the cases normal fertility.

سرطان بیضه: اولین گام درمانی – جراحی!
سرطان بیضه یکی از درمانپذیرترین سرطانها محسوب میشود، بهویژه در صورت تشخیص زودهنگام.
پس از تشخیص، مهمترین درمان، برداشتن بیضهی مبتلا است، که این عمل جراحی تحت عنوان «ارکیدکتومی رادیکال» شناخته میشود.
این جراحی از طریق یک برش کوچک در ناحیهی کشاله ران و به منظور برداشتن کامل و ایمن کل بیضه و ساختارهای اطراف آن انجام میگردد.
بیضهی برداشته شده برای بررسی نوع و مرحلهی سرطان، به آزمایشگاه پاتولوژی ارسال میشود. نتیجهی حاصل از آن، گامهای بعدی درمان را به ما نشان میدهد.
خبر خوب اینکه مردان میتوانند با یک بیضه، زندگی کاملاً طبیعی را ادامه دهند، بهویژه با داشتن فعالیت جنسی طبیعی و همچنین در اکثر موارد، حفظ باروری طبیعی.
