What Do You Usually Recommend for?
A healthy man with a 4 cm tumor in the upper or lower part of the kidney?
Answer: Laparoscopic or robotic-assisted removal of the tumor (partial nephrectomy).
A healthy man with an 8 cm tumor in the middle of the kidney?
Answer: Laparoscopic or robotic-assisted removal of the entire kidney (radical nephrectomy).
A patient with a huge kidney tumor larger than 15 cm?
Answer: Open surgery to remove the whole kidney (radical nephrectomy).
When do you advise a kidney biopsy?
Answer: Rarely. A kidney tumor biopsy may be necessary for decision-making, such as when there is a tumor in both kidneys, and imaging (CT or MRI) cannot determine whether it is benign or malignant.

پاسخ: برداشتن کل کلیه با لاپاراسکوپی یا رباتیک (نفرکتومی رادیکال).
3). بیمار با تومور کلیه بزرگتر از 15 سانتی متر؟
پاسخ: جراحی باز برای برداشتن کل کلیه (نفرکتومی رادیکال).
4). چه زمانی بیوپسی کلیه (نمونه برداری) را توصیه می کنید؟
پاسخ: به ندرت. بیوپسی تومور کلیه ممکن است به ندرت برای تصمیم گیری ضروری باشد، مانند زمانی که تومور در هر دو کلیه وجود دارد و تصویربرداری (CT یا MRI) نمی تواند خوش خیم یا بدخیم بودن آن را تعیین کند.
